Andrea Glynn

My name is Andrea Glynn and I founded Schools Safeguarding following a 20 year career in pastoral and safeguarding roles in education. My aim is to support educational professionals to keep children as safe and as happy as they can be. I am the lead consultant and director of Schools Safeguarding Ltd and I am passionate about providing practical, realistic and relevant (and dare I say fun?!) training covering all aspects of Safeguarding and Child Protection in schools, including Designated Safeguarding Leads, Safer Recruitment, Supervision and the Governance and Management of Safeguarding. I also support schools with Safeguarding Compliancy Audits, Supervision, Risk Assessments, Referrals, Investigations and Assessments, as well as providing ongoing advice, guidance and resources to make safeguarding in schools as stress-free as possible.

I am an enthusiastic and optimistic person – I try to find some joy in every day, which I understand can be difficult sometimes in the line of work we’re in! I live with my partner and two dogs and enjoy walking, spending time with friends, eating out, going to the theatre and having days out. I am also an avid reader and will share what I am reading on my emails – please let me know of any good reads!
